The nurture ministry also includes our senior and youth ministries and adult Christian experience.

Eucharistic Ministry:

This is a vital ministry that visits the sick and shut-in members of the congregation. Once monthly they administer Holy Communion to these shut-in members. On special occasions, particularly during the celebration of harvest, gift baskets are delivered to them.

Hospitality:

This ministry is responsible for the welcoming aspect of the worship service. They provide greeters who welcome visitors and members alike and assist in preparing refreshments on special occasions.

Class System:

This ministry ensures that all members are receiving spiritual growth through weekly Bible Study and group discussion. This is done via weekly conference group calls with a minimum of one physical meeting each month. The leaders of the various classes maintain close contact with their group members and report to the Pastor anyone who has medical or physical challenges and needs uplifting through prayer. The classes also take turns in hosting the fellowship time/ the social hour after Sunday Worship by preparing and or providing beverages, food and/ or a light snack. During this time of socialization new relationships are developed, themes brought up during the sermon are discussed, and is a great time for ‘catching up’.

Let’s Talk:

Ministry for young adults ages 20-30. Meet on Friday nights, to talk about faith and the everyday issues of life. Meet at the parsonage over a meal

Health and Welfare:

Attends to the physical, mental and spiritual health of individuals in the congregation, offering exercise classes, blood pressure checks and giving tips on healthy living.
